Jenkinson's Boardwalk, Point Pleasant Beach: beach prices, parking and what is there
Jenkinson's is the mile of boardwalk, beach, rides, arcades and bars that most people mean by Point Pleasant Beach. The aquarium and pavilion are at 300 Ocean Avenue; the amusement park, beach gates and south arcade are at 500 Boardwalk.
Beach admission is sold at any open gate and cannot be bought online. In 2026 a daily wristband is $14 on weekdays and $15 on weekends and holidays, children under 12 are free, and a full-season badge is $130 ($95 for seniors 65 and over, or $95 for a half season split at July 18). Chairs are $11, umbrellas $12 and lounge chairs $15 or two for $25. Nobody is admitted once the gates close for the day, and there is no swimming when lifeguards are off duty.
The beach bans alcohol, glass, smoking and vaping, tents, pets, loud music, tables, drones and cooking gear; coolers are limited to 18 by 12.5 by 15.5 inches and canopies to 10 by 10 feet with no side walls. Bath houses are at the pavilion, at Boardwalk and Broadway and at Boardwalk and Parkway; changing on the beach is not allowed.
Jenkinson's runs five flat-rate all-day parking lots: the Inlet lot by the bath house and Inlet restaurant, the Aquarium lot, Frank's Fun Center, the amusement park lot next to the South Arcade, the South Beach and Bath House lot, and a smaller lot at 804 Ocean Avenue by Lighthouse Point mini golf. Borough street meters and the Inlet Drive and Little Silver Lake municipal lots are pay-by-space from March 1 through October 31, and the machines give no change. Lots fill on summer weekends; arrive early.
Jenkinson's Aquarium, open since June 1991, is on the boardwalk by the pavilion. Through the off season it is open 10 am to 5 pm. Its site lists admission at $18 for adults, $13 for seniors 65 and over, $12 for children 3 to 11 and free under 2.
